Food Fight Podcast Pineapples on pizza. Cornbread vs biscuits. What is pumpkin spice? And are grits necessary? This panel will debate, celebrate or eliminate what we ruminate. Hosted and moderated by t. sterling watson.

A debate that's lasted eons, or at the very least as long as peanut butter has been a thing: crunchy vs creamy? But not only peanut butter is discussed, but the strange ways the butter of peanuts is delivered to us: jarred with jelly, frozen in a sandwich you leave on the counter to thaw, eaten right off of a spoon, etc. But seriously, where does one draw the line on peanut butter texture? Who's right in this fight? Where do you stand?

Who doesn't like pizza? Better yet, who doesn't like pineapples on their pizza? This is the episode for you! The panelists go in on all things pizza and pizza toppings that should or shouldn't be on a pizza. Is there such a thing as too much meat on a pizza? What chain restaurant has the best pizza? And a question for the listener: how often do YOU have pizza?

In this episode, the panel gets into fungal matters as they discuss and get disgusted by mushrooms. Someone stomps on them in their yard in protest, while others may or may not order them on a pizza (along with other questionable toppings). And yes, the inevitable "fungi" joke is made. And what might Mario Mario and Bugs Bunny have in common?

How is the best way to enjoy a bowl of oatmeal? What is Cream of Wheat made of? And are Oaty-O's a thing and should they ever be given to children? The panel asks and answers these questions and more on this breakfast food and all things oat-related. Should raisins be included in an oatmeal cookie? Chime in on this debate on Twitter and what toppings you like on your bowl of oatmeal!

Beloved host draws lines in the sand and makes a controversial (and some would consider sacrilegious) stand for something he'd like to see one day: #CremelessOreos. Besides that, all share love for the Milk's Favorite Cookie, but not for all the various random flavors and varieties no one seemed to ask for. And in true Food Fight Podcast fashion, other topics are discussed such as Walmart, Zaxby's, and shell-less sunflower seeds. But important issues are brought to light such as proper dunking technique and who actually likes the Double Stuf Oreo.

The deliciousness that is gingerbread, whether that be cookies, houses, or flavors in drinks. The panelists get off topic a few times, ice chewing, food scented candles, old people, judging others and other pet peeves (of Jackson). Things get dark when decapitation and drowning is discussed, but it makes sense in context to gingerbread men. Also learn how to make "homemade ginger ale."

(Apologies for weird audio issues in this episode.)

'Tis the season for Christmas cookies, candy canes and a thick dairy drink that people spike or can't stand at all. The odd beverage that is eggnog, not at all refreshing, but a staple in many holiday traditions from late fall to the New Year, the panel debates on its uses and its mere existence. Where did it come from? Are there really eggs in it? And what #JaxFacts did you learn today? Find out in this warm and comforting, or nauseating episode devoted to eggnog!

One of those peculiar vegetables that undergoes a transformation in both name and taste. Are pickles better than cucumbers? Why is it that people who like pickles, don't like relish and vice versa? Join the panel discussion as they jump in the jar of pickle juice before and after the cucumber has been submerged and discover which is the greater greenery to grub on in the group!

The trees of your dinner plate. Someone is juicing them (which should never ever be done) while others are eating them frozen or raw (probably also should not be done). They are also being put on pizza, which no one really has a problem with. But how does the panel really feel about the many branches of broccoli and all its florets?

It's not Halloween or the harvest time of year without those odd waxy candy pieces that may or may not resemble corn. Where did they come from? What are they supposed to taste like? Are you even supposed to eat them? The panel chews on these thoughts and discuss the delicious or disgusting candy corn.
